Thank You, Dear Teacher

When I first began to learn,

I was distraught with challenges I faced;

You inspired me to pursue the best, 

And to reject the commonplace; 

Your ideas opened new vistas,

and now I clearly see; 

You helped me to seek what I was looking for,

And to let go of complacency;

I am eternally grateful for all you have done,

Those lessons, I'll never outgrow; 

Your presence made a positive impact on me,

To you, all my achievements, I owe!
