Drafted for My Love

How do I describe what happened to me when you suddenly appeared,
Initial reaction - a little surprise, acceptance, and a tinge of fear,
Moments with you are filled with laughter, and joy, times when I'm free,
Times I let go, and just be,
All the fluffy emotions trapped inside me,
Find their release when I'm with you, and make themselves clearly seen.
You see me from a distance and you welcome me with open arms
I can safely show you my true self, you make me calm.
When we're together my soul is complete.
It is because of divine power that our paths did meet.
When life gives me a lemon, I usually make lemonade,
But when you came into my life, I dropped the lemons, fell for you, and needed first-aid.
The world is sometimes full of disapproval and rejection,
You give me a reason to appreciate life and it's deep reflections.
I need only your heart’s genuine acceptance
You and me, walking this path together  embracing both noise and the sound of silence.. :-)
Choices and decisions may rack our brains,
Whatever the case may be, we'll face it together, come shine, come rains.
You have my presence and my perseverance all through,
I will strive to make life's tough situations comfortable for you.
Every moment with you, is time I love best,
I am thankful for you, we belong together in every way....I am blessed. :-)

Eyes Wide Shut

Eyes wide open, crying Heart thought things would work out, at the start, Tears of sadness, piercing stone When he left her, she felt all alone. Love of her life, gone away, Her sole wish was that he'd stay. She moved herself to get to him, But,it made no difference since he'd already been taken. She'd give him everything he wanted, She wanted him to be happy with her, life would be sorted. But, there were others who vied for him, He'd let them fall for him and the fools rushed in. If the mountain seems too big today  then climb a hill instead; If morning brings you sadness  it’s okay to stay in bed.  If the day ahead feels heavy and your plans feel like a curse,  There’s no shame in rearranging,  don’t make yourself feel worse. If a shower stings like needles  and a bath feels like you’ll drown; If you haven’t washed your hair for days,  don’t throw away your crown! A day is not a lifetime. A rest is not defeat.
