My thoughts on Superficialness

Why is the world so messed up?
What do people get from being something they are not?
What do people get from plastering a new painting on an old wall?
Maybe a change of scenery; The wall is still worn and needs to be attended to,
How about strumming a new tune on a worn-out guitar?
Wouldnt I use more effort to craft the tune on the worn-out guitar,
compared to using a brand new guitar;
Or If I cannot change my guitar, at least changing or fixing the part of the guitar,
that is hampering it from producing wholesome clean sound?
People like to create and live in their own customized bubble,
Many-a-times people concentrate on keeping that bubble intact,
forgetting about themselves and whats outside the bubble...
They'll say, "As long as the bubble is ok, Im ok!
I dont know about me, I dont know about you,
I only want to always know that my bubble is ok.
So what's your bubble?
Is it really worth it creating our own bubbles that we want to live in?
Not opening our eyes to whats really out there...or in here ?
Often truth has to cling to facts,
Integrity has a different strainer each time,
Each time the strainer has finer and finer openings for the truth to penetrate...

Can a soul manufacture bandaids?
and by Band-aids, I mean words;
Are words enough to bring out the purity of a soul?
Everything can get very diluted in a line that says
'This is me. This is who I am.'
Who truly knows the purity of his own soul ?
Words trap so much of energy in them;
There is so much of the energy that the soul wants to communicate,
gets trapped in the sorry excuse that is words...
Often, when the soul's purity is broken down,
to be connected to another soul through words,
the pure energy often becomes so refined that it loses its rawness...

When we learn from others, are we truly connecting with their soul,
or a refined version if their soul?
Why is it that people have smiling faces when there is so much of confusion inside?
Fact- we live on the surface of the earth.
Does that mean that we have to be surface-level people?
Does that mean that our surface has to be strong and not show whats happening inside...?
Can we stop people from being messed up?
Yes we can stop them from being more messed up than they already are,
and from hurting themselves.
Also, what is already there, hidden inside, can be found and bared.
Does this serve to take it away?
Yes, baring the wound is the first step; This leads to acceptance...

Man searches for answers...
Man can figure out his own answers, they reside deep within himself..
Sometimes man gets habituated to surface-level living for so long,
that he is neglects whats going on inside him.
Social networking sites encourage such "surface-levelness",
because everyone likes to paint a pretty picture of themselves...
Once people see what's on the inside, they are scared...
When it is about themselves, they are scared to accept it,
and will do their best to look away from wounds and avoid confronting it,
They'll build a bubble protecting themselves from it;
When it is about other people,
They begin to fear what the person is capable of,
when they see confusion stirring within the other person;
Because of this, even that surface level friendship goes away;
The person is left all alone to fend for himself...
Today, there is a dire need for 'Witnesses',
who can truly look whats on the inside of a person;
and not distance himself from the person just because of what he found on the inside.
Lessons I learnt:
I must create a good "surface", though I must also nurture my core...
I must face myself, though I must also close my eyes, and be...
I must look into the mirror and describe myself to me,
and after that I must also learn the role of a mirror so that I can be one for others,
and teach them to describe themselves for themselves.
I must be honest to myself and say
"this is what I am!" and after that, I can easily be honest to the world...
I must be a Witness and make a difference to the world!
